• I'm kind of shy and quiet when it comes to my personal love life. I will tell you that I do like girls with outgoing personalities, and self-respect. But not conceit.
• I consider my friends and family the most valued treasures of my life. And, of course, all those wonderful fans.
It's hard not to like me.
• I learned that if you respect other people, chances are that they're going to respect you, too. That's why I've high regard for my fans.

• I'm not afraid to experiment when I'm in the studio. I want to keep my fans happy. But I also want to satisfy my own quest to take my music to places it's never been before.
• A person's private life should be just that - private. People have a right to privacy. I don't think that just because someone is famous it gives others the right to pry into their personal affairs.
• On Nikki DeLoach: We're still close friends. She's a very special person, with extraordinary talent. How could I not still care for her, and wish her all the best.

• Some of the songs I think of when I'm in the shower. Some of them I'll think of when I'm falling into bed - I've got to get up and put this down!
• On the Internet: [When] I write back, all of a sudden I'll get like a billion hits the next day because I actually replied.
• I guess I am to a certain extant, but I'm not like over the top, I mean, I'm not quite a flowers-and-candy guy. But the only reason I'm not like that is I don't think it's as original. I'll do it, but I always feel a little funny about it.
• I like a girl who maintains herself but isn't arrogant. I like a girl who is understanding and makes me laugh.
• I don't need a Hollywood girl. They're crazy. If you're with an actress, you don't know who you're going to come home to every day.
• There's no 'I' in *NSYNC.
• On Christmas shopping: I'm defiantly a procrastinator when it comes to physically buying them.
• I'm like, the sanity in this big mix. Everybody's got like their job here. My job is, I don't know, to kinda remind everyone, 'okay, be on time.' I'm just the serious one and I like to make sure everything runs smooth.
• Every artist needs a muse.
• I sung 2 whole songs with my fly open at a show in Switzerland. You could see my whities!

• If I'm 40 and we're still playing shows, and people want to call us a boy band, by all means - drink from the fountain of youth!
• I just like the fact that I'm skinny, because I can wear a lot of clothes. I can wear anything.

• On ADLIDAS: It's getting out of hand if you can't even talk about sex.
• On Lauryn Hill: Lauryn Hill is on a whole other level. She almost invented a new style of music. It's like hip-hop, but old-school. We listen to her album all the time on tour.
• I wouldn't put anything on that record that I didn't believe in, and that I didn't put my soul on.
• On Schizophrenic: This record is a breath of fresh air. It is not an overly formatted record that is a bite off of what everybody else is doing. This is something brand new, and it's a musical journey. It's about making real music. It's about making music from your soul.
• 'Everything I Own' is my father's favorite song. I always heard it growing up.

• People shouldn't be judged by their appearances because it's what they feel on the inside that matters.
• On *NSYNC's choreography: The minute we hear a hype beat we just wanna go BOOM and hit something hard, and that's what we do.
• Everyone thinks I like to sleep. It's not that I like to sleep, it's that I don't like to get up! There is a difference.
• If I'm into a girl, I'll take her on romantic dates to see plays. I've even been known to serenade a girl with a song I've written especially for her.
• It's a drag dealing with a lack of sleep and less time to see family and stuff like that.

• See, I was dope-illy-fresh back in the day...
• Life is good!
• On underwear: I wear them once and throw them out. I'm just so used to throwing them out that I wouldn't even think of washing them.
